About Katelyn

I love the taste of rich dark chocolate with a glass of Merlot, vintage cameras, warm sunsets and sandy beaches, gardens full of exotic flowers, the smell of fresh cut grass, shades of green or blue, traveling to far off places, close family gatherings, laughing with my husband, cuddling with Bambi (our chihuahua), running long distances, reading novels, The Real Housewives, and I Love Lucy.

Blizzard '09 / weather photographer

This weekend was a lot of fun. Chris and I were snowed in by the Blizzard of '09! When all was said and done we ended up with 24+ inches of snow. Even though Chris shoveled twice on Saturday night, the next morning we had another foot on top of the walkway. He did a a great job digging us out of the snow, while I made tasty hot cocoa!

We had so much fun this weekend, I didn't get a chance to blog the Holiday Giveaway Winner: Judy! She was the only one to post, so she wins :) I was hoping that there may be more than a handful of readers checkin' out my fab blog, but it's okay. It takes time to build up a following. Also, instead of posting for the giveaway, I received more inquiries and booked a few more sessions with previous clients... just by sending them a reminder to post on the giveaway blog! So, that's how awesome my clients are! They don't want giveaways, they just want excellent service.

Oh, and how cool is this? We just had a brand new sliding door installed as the snow began on Saturday morning. The guys did an awesome job. Our old door was so drafty, so I'd say we got this door just in time!

Here are a few photos from our fun in the snow! Cookie baking pictures to come soon :)

Bambi would be buried if she went out the door into the snow!
The picture on the left is from the night before and on the right is after the snow stopped!
